Engage and qualify managers and their workforce
Workforce qualifications
Competence-based qualifications are based on what people do on a day-to-day basis as part of their work. The real challenge is to get them to do it consistently to meet the DANOS standards, which set out what good performance in the job looks like.
The Performer Process delivers practical performance improvement for each worker while providing him or her with vital evidence to secure his/her accreditation. The process takes a year to establish and involves 3 focused 3-hour sessions. The outcome is endorsed work-place performance and improved standards-based supervision and support. This endorsement ties in with the accreditation stream discussed in journey 3.
Manager Professional Development Awards
Managers need to demonstrate continuous professional development and work towards achieving a professional development award. The Performer Process uses the same approach as for workers, moving managers through key management units, allowing them to build a personal development plan and get unit accreditation towards say, NVQ Level 4.
From the above, you will see how Streams 2 and 3 move workers and managers in a very practical way towards NVQ targeted achievement, without costly time away from work.
